Cutest Pet Contest 2025 Rules

Prize

The top 3 Cutest Pets will be featured in the September/October 2025 digital issue of Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine.

Eligibility

The 2025 Cutest Pet Contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of the following areas, who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry:

  • The 2025 Cutest Pet Contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of Greater Central Florida, including but not limited to the following counties: Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Polk, Volusia, Brevard, Marion, Sumter, Flagler, Hernando, Citrus, and Indian River.
    Entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

Photo Submission Guidelines

  • Photo size must be smaller than 3MB.
  • Photos must not include people.
  • Photos should not be digitally altered or enhanced beyond standard editing (cropping, lighting adjustment, etc.).
     

Additional Terms

  • Previous Cutest Pet Contest winners are not eligible to enter in 2025.
  • All entries must be submitted by the published deadline to qualify.
  • Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or non-compliant with contest rules.
  • By entering, you grant Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine the right to use your pet’s name and photo in print, digital, and social media channels for promotional purposes.
  • Winners will be selected according to the official voting and round criteria posted on the contest website.

Popular Vote

  1. The Operator will select, in its sole, absolute, and complete discretion, which Entrants will participate in the Contest as competitors. Upon Entry, Entrants will be divided into groups and advance to the initial Qualifiers voting round. Subsequent public voting rounds (individually a "Round" and, collectively, the “Rounds”) will progressively reduce the grouped number of Entrants. The first round of round public voting Qualifiers) begins August 11th, 2025 at 9:00 AM EST and ends on August 24th, 2025 at 8 PM EST.  The final round of voting (Finals) runs from 9am August 26th to 8pm on the the 5th September, 2025.
  2. The public is invited to vote for their favorite Entries (“the Public Vote”). Each person may vote every time they make a payment (the number of votes will vary depending on the amount of the payment).
  3. Since the Contest will be decided based upon votes the public casts, there are no refunds once a vote is cast. As a Voter, you are responsible for understanding this policy. To maintain the integrity of the Contest, there will be no exceptions to this policy.
  4. There will be two (2) Rounds of voting in the Contest.
    In the first Round, the public can vote for any Entry, and at the end of the Round, the top 20% of Entrants with the most votes will be selected to advance to the Final Round.

    In the final Round, the public can vote for any Entry, and at the end of the Round, the top 3 Entrants will be selected as the Cutest Pet Award winners from 1st to 3rd place.
  5. We reserve the right to not accept votes at our absolute and complete discretion if we suspect they were fraudulently cast. We reserve the right to disqualify any winner who engages in activity which could unfairly manipulate the outcome of the Public Vote.
  6. In the event of an equal number of votes in a group, the Operator will determine which of the tied entrants should either be selected as a winner or should go through to the next Round.
  7. The Operator will take all reasonable steps to contact the Winners using the details provided by them when they entered the Contest but in the event of any failure to do so or a Winner’s failure to respond within 48 hours, the Operator reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
